Annual Experience 2023

The Digital Transformation of Outpatient Surgery

This event was held May 3-5, 2023 at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco Downtown SOMA

Now in its 7th year, The Digital Orthopaedic Conference San Francisco (DOCSF) in partnership with the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) will bring you THE DOCSF EXPERIENCE, our flagship premier event focused on the application and exploration of digital technologies in Musculoskeletal care brought to you from the heart of Silicon Valley.

After an extraordinary exploration of the Digital Future of Orthopaedics in 2022, in 2023, DOCSF will explore the Digital Future of Outpatient Surgery. Together with our community of tech giants, technological wizards, creative innovators, futurists, startups, venture capitalists, doctors, and industry and hospital teams, we will dive into the digital transformation of the ASC.

Why Attend

The future of orthopaedics, like healthcare and pretty much the rest of the economy, will be entirely rebuilt using a digital infrastructure the outlines of which are becoming increasingly clear. However, it is nearly impossible to find a place where all the information you need to understand this transformation is curated for an audience of surgical specialists. Coming to DOCSF means you will be ready to Join the Revolution!

Wednesday, May 3
(Med Tech Bone Tank in Ballroom)

Thursday, May 4

Friday, May 5

What to

Panels that change your mind, lectures that broaden your horizons, and symposia that bring it all together in one simple story. And DOCSF Science will be back to present the most cutting- edge research providing the evidence for change.

And since this is, after all, DOCSF, expect the unexpected.

At DOCSF23, we will tackle AI technology focused on efficiency and productivity in the ASC, trends in med-tech devices shaping the next generation of surgical tools, the future of patient experience in Web 3.0, and how the blockchain and DAOs will forever change ASC business models.

Together, we will look at the place that MSK will have in a future health paradigm where the ubiquity of the metaverse, everyday autonomous robots, effective gamification in care pathways, and interactive chatbot driven holograms are embedded in our care models. We will ask about EMRs, the impact of PE firms, how tech can address the Great Resignation, and how to calculate ROI for tech investments in the ASC setting.

We have designed an entirely new experience intended to empower you with the knowledge, skills, connections, and leads that will enable you to prepare for the future that is certain to come (how do we know… well, we have been right so far…)

New in 2023 is a half-day pre-conference session dedicated to rapid fire, MSK-focused, startup showcases

More details as we finalize our speakers, partners, cutting-edge exhibitors, experiences, and surrounding events that will make DOCSF 23: THE DIGITAL FUTURE OF OUTPATIENT SURGERY another remarkable experience for our community of leading thinkers (yep: you will remark on it to everyone for weeks after!)
