We are proud to announce that DOCSF Science 2026 will be presented in partnership with The Journal of Bone & Joint Surgery (JBJS), one of the most respected voices in orthopaedic research globally. This collaboration reinforces our shared commitment to advancing high-quality, forward-thinking scientific exchange in musculoskeletal care.

DOCSF Science introduces an interaction-first model—designed to prioritize discussion, critique, and cross-disciplinary collaboration over traditional, passive presentation formats.

DOCSF (Digital Orthopaedics Conference San Francisco) 2026 invites submissions across all stages of work—early, exploratory, or complete—that contribute to innovation in orthopaedics, digital health, and musculoskeletal technology.

We welcome submissions from clinicians, engineers, researchers, and innovators shaping the future of care.

Topics of Interest:

  • AI: Agentic AI, large language models, clinical decision support, workflow integration
  • Robotics: Surgical, rehabilitative, and assistive systems; human–machine collaboration
  • Imaging: Advanced imaging, AI-enabled interpretation, multimodal integration
  • Additional topics aligned with the DOCSF Science format are encouraged

Presentation Formats:

Table Discussions (Primary Format)

  • 1 presenter · 1 facilitator · up to 6 attendees
  • Attendees rotate; presenters remain anchored
  • Ideal for exploratory, collaborative, and in-progress work

Lightning Theatre

  • 5-minute presentations · No Q&A · Limited slots
  • Best for focused, near-complete work

Posters

  • Presented during a cocktail reception
  • Informal, interactive environment for extended discussion
  • Open to all stages of work

Submission Guidelines:

  • Abstract Length: 1 page maximum (300 words)
  • Figures & References: Optional 1 additional page
  • Format: PDF preferred
  • Content: Ongoing, exploratory, or completed work

  • Notification of Acceptance: September 1, 2026
