DOCSF and Digital Health Hub Foundation have partnered to create a new MSK category for 2023 Awards, recognizing top orthopedic and surgical health tech.
UCSF DOCSF (the Digital Orthopaedic Conference San Francisco) is partnering with The Digital Health Hub Foundation to support the launch of a new Awards category called “Digital Transformation of Surgery.” As DOCSF is the premiere digital orthopaedic surgery conference in the world and the 2023 conference (May 3-5) focuses on the Digital Transformation of Outpatient Surgery, it was a perfect fit. 12 companies applying to participate in the DOCSF’s “bone tank” through the Digital Health Hub Awards portal will be selected to present to a panel of judges composed of venture and strategic investors. From these twelve, four winners will be automatically entered into the quarterfinal round at the Digital Health Awards providing them exposure to over 1500 investor judges and a chance of winning an award at the Grand Finale on October 9 at HLTH in Las Vegas.
Who Should Apply
We are seeking the most innovative in-market digital solutions that could radically transform orthopaedic surgery by making musculoskeletal care faster, better, simpler, and/or cheaper, with improved outcomes and/or greater access.
Application Process
Digital Health Hub will accept submissions here starting March 6, 2023, for the Digital Transformation of Surgery Category. These early submissions should be focused on companies whose products or business is active in the musculoskeletal space. The submissions will be reviewed by a panel of DOCSF judges who will select 12 companies. The selected companies will have the opportunity to present live at the DOCSF “Bone Tank” and exhibit to the DOCSF audience. There will be two tracks for companies to participate in, the Rising Star Track (pre A, A) and the Best in Class track (larger, established companies). The winners from the DOCSF Bone Tank, will automatically become quarterfinalists in the Transforming Surgery category at the Digital Health Awards where they will be evaluated by over 1,500 Health Hub Digital Health Awards judges (mostly investors), with winners from each category being awarded at the Grand Finale at HLTH in Las Vegas in the fall.
