Welcome back to the 2022 Digital Orthopaedics Conference San Francisco (DOCSF). DOCSF 2022 was held April 28-29, 2022 in San Francisco.
The first segment below is DOCSF Science in Sensors and AR/VR in Orthopaedics, hosted by Fabrizio Billi (UCLA). DOCSF Science is intended to look back at the most influential research of 2021 and how it will seed future innovation in orthopaedics. Following the DOCSF Science is “Four Technology Superpowers” presented by Alex Flores (Intel). What are the four superpowers that are shaping the future of health? Alex Flores, Head of Intel’s Health Solutions shares examples of how artificial intelligence, the internet of things, 5G connectivity, and cloud technologies will carry us to 2037 and beyond. He visits the trends, shifts, and tangible examples taking place and setting the foundation for a futuristic view.
Next, we hear from Shafi Ahmed discussing Hospitals in the Metaverse, followed by Metaverse Chat with Louis Rosenberg (Unanimous AI) and Stefano Bini (UCSF/DOCSF).
The final segment of this session is “Innovation in Healthcare: Startups and their importance to the healthcare eco-system”, presented by Unity Stoakes (SUH).
